Individuals needing transportation services to or from their place of employment, are encouraged to apply. Also, view the Rider Code of Conduct to see expectations and what to expect as a member of the Catch – A – Ride program.
This program is addressing labor shortages throughout the region by providing employment transportation assistance. This program is increasing the number of interested candidates and employee punctuality and reliability.
Please Promote the Winnebago Catch – A – Ride Program to your employees not only as riders, but drivers! This program was built on a co-workers helping co-workers mentality. This means that employees currently driving to and from work, can pick up and drop off their co-workers along the way and get their mileage reimbursed. View our marketing materials here, and if you have any further questions regarding the program, please contact Julia Steffes.

About the Program
The Winnebago Catch-A-Ride (WCAR) program provides 24/7, on-demand employment transportation services for workers throughout the greater Oshkosh area. This program is not meant to duplicate services, but rather fill in the gaps for existing transportation services throughout Winnebago county. Therefore, this service cannot be used in areas or during times when other viable public transportation is readily available.
Winnebago Catch-A-Ride is brought to Winnebago County through a partnership with Make the Ride Happen, a program of Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, and the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission. WCAR is powered by Feonix – Mobility Rising, a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance transportation options for vulnerable and under-served communities.
The Winnebago Catch – A – Ride Program is funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development and the Department of Transportation, through the Commute to Careers grant.
